I have used several Bluetooth headsets over the past few years, and I believe that this is the best one I have ever owned! It is extremely quick and easy to pair with both my original iPhone 3GS as well as my new iPhone 4S.

The sound quality is crisp and clear, blocking out most background noise. I was very impressed with the voice notification features included in this headset. When there is an incoming call, a loud clear voice announces the number of the caller. I found it particularly useful that the headset states whether or not a phone is connected as well as the status of the headset battery life when you first turn it on.

On my new iPhone 4S, the Siri personal assistant is available with a single click of the main button on the headset and automatic redial of the last number called is available if you hold the button down. The range with this device is phenomenal, allowing me to leave my phone in one room and go to any other part of the house. I would highly recommend this headset!

This headset is the closest to perfect I've used.

Features:

Pros:
* Connects instantly to phone. No missed calls due to on/off delay.

* Can stream music or other audio from phone to headset. Great for listening to talk radio, podcasts, etc.
* Great Bluetooth range.

Cons:
* Single volume button rather than up/down volume.
* Noise cancellation not as effective as some other headsets.
* At max volume, it can crackle at times.

Review:
I have used about a dozen different Bluetooth headsets and this one is now my favorite. It's not perfect but it is the closest to perfect I've used. I've always been torn between the Moto and Plantronics brand headsets. The reason is the Moto headsets turn on instantly when you open the boom. They are also very comfortable. The problem is that the boom hinge breaks over time or if you put the headset in your pocket. Also, the battery life is okay but not great. Last, while the early Moto headsets had great voice quality, the newer ones are muffled sounding.

The Plantronics headsets get louder then other brands and they last. I have 4 different models and I've never had one of them break. They are rugged! Some aren't very comfortable though. Their battery lasts a very long time so I don't have to carry another charger when I travel for a day or two, which is good since Plantronics uses a proprietary charger.

I've been searching around for a great bluetooth headset for years (literally), and while I found a few good ones, the majority of them were lacking in some way or other. This particular headset is really just...awesome.

The form factor is small with the boom closed, and it's very light. It ships with an on-ear hook, an in-ear hook, and two differently sized in-ear no hook options. I'm using the smaller of the two in-ear no hook pieces, and it is easily the most comfortable headset I've ever worn. The only problem is that I forget it's there, and I end up walking around all day with a headset in.

My headset showed up fully charged (which was nice), and when I opened the boom, a voice guided me through pairing it with my iPhone (!). I'm used to hunting through the manual to find the right combination of keypresses to get the the headset into pairing mode, but this headset anticipates that and immediately gets to work. Pairing the headset was the completely painless and worked perfectly.

The battery has lasted quite some time. Each time you flip open the boom, a voice lets you know the headset is connected, and tells you the level of the battery. You charge the battery with a micro USB slot on the end of the headset. I don't know how long it would take to charge, mostly because I haven't had to charge it yet.

The sound is crystal-clear, and most people I talk to with this don't even realize I'm on a bluetooth headset. The "answer" and "ignore" voice commands are a cool feature, and work reliably. The headset turns off when you close the boom - this is a great battery-saving feature, and I really like not having to press a button and hold it for 3 seconds until I get some obscure series of blue or red flashes to indicate the headset is off.

My Plantronics Voyager HD occurred the same fate as that of many owners who reported the same problem which is that the rubber "neck" portion broke. As a result, the lower portion of the headset just flops around as it's being held by a thin wire. When I saw this model on sale for a third of the price of the Voyager HD, I decided to give it a try. The reviews were good on it which gave me confidence in making the purchase.
I ordered it on a Friday and was very pleasantly surprised to see it arrive two days later on Sunday!
Upon opening the box, inside were the headset with the silicon ear gel already attached. An additional ear gel piece is included as well as a micro-usb charging cable and car charger.

Pairing the headset was as easy as it can get. Just hold down the power button for a few seconds and then go to the cell phone bluetooth settings and scan for the MPOW. Once found, it paired up easily with my iPhone.

Fitting the MPOW to my ear is similar to how I did it using the Voyager. I can do it with just one had. The fit is snug and comfortable. The silicon ear gel is round, smooth, and soft which does not irritate my ear at all. Compared to the Voyager, the MPOW is more discreet looking mostly because the MPOW does not have the protruding boom mic that the Voyager has.

Performance on the MPOW is good overall. The volume level is actually louder than the Voyager. The clarity of the ear piece is good. However, the microphone performance is not as good as the Voyager. I did a test with a couple of people using the Voyager and the MPOW. My test subjects both agreed that the Voyager did sound clearer probably because it has the boom mic.
However, my test subjects were still able to hear me okay on the MPOW.

I love this headset, I must admit I thought BT headsets were on the way out with so many cars having hands free calling, but I guess the tech guys have been working on ways to improve.
First thing you will notice is comfort, I have small ear canals and this things fits great, snug, comfortable very lightweight and super discreet, unlike the days of a flashing blue beacon on the side of your head!
I ride a motorcycle with a removable BT intercom or cellphone function and boom mike which works OK, but this unit I can actually wear comfortably UNDER my helmet. With voice activation for answering AND dialing and the new wind noise blackout, I can hear and make calls even at highway speed without a problem.
I haven't had mine long enough to wear out the battery, but the new micro power cell claims of up to 10 hours of talk time on a single charge seems believable. Charging is standard USB
This is NOT a cheap headset, but everything is relative right?
Probably one of the first I have owned that I think I could wear all day without being uncomfortable or looking like I belong in an episode of Star Trek!
I recommend registering your device on the Jabra website, and also downloading the Jabra Assist app to your phone. There's even a feature on the app where you can geographically see where you had it turned on the last time, should you misplace it.
BT pairing is easy, and HD voice was compatible with my AT&T carrier.
